The Harp Group acquired a 3.9 acres site in Rosemont, Illinois on River Road immediately south of the Rosemont Theater in April of 2006 for the development of a 556-room, 12 story InterContinental Hotel, to be known as the InterContinental Chicago O’Hare Hotel. This hotel, which is anticipated to open in the third quarter of 2008, will include approximately 23,000 square feet of banquet and meeting space and will include such other amenities as a swimming pool, fitness center, coffee shop and an Osteria di Tramonto restaurant by Cenitare. The development will also feature both a Capital Grille steakhouse and a McCormick & Schmick’s situated right out front of the hotel on River Road.

The InterContinental Chicago O’Hare Hotel will be managed by The Harp Group’s affiliated management company, Portfolio Hotels & Resorts.
