The Harp Group acquired a 3.9 acres site in Rosemont, Illinois on River Road immediately south of the Rosemont Theater in April of 2006 for the development of a 556-room, 12 story InterContinental Hotel, also known as the InterContinental Chicago O’Hare Hotel. This hotel, which opened in September 2008, includes approximately 56,000 square feet of banquet and meeting space and includes such other amenities as a fitness center, and coffee shop. The development also features both a Capital Grille steakhouse and a McCormick & Schmick’s situated right out front of the hotel on River Road.

The InterContinental Chicago O’Hare Hotel will be managed by The Harp Group’s affiliated management company, Portfolio Hotels & Resorts.
